Follow the story of a primordial demon who, after being ambushed, is forced into a limited mortal life in the form of a human being. A complication in the process brings to life two separate avatars that the Demon possesses, Saya and Karce. Saya, a human seductress, is paired with Karce, an alien, insectoid warrior who hates all things weak and soft.
For many years, they conflict together as their body, under the control of Karce, acclimates to this new form of existence. All the while, the two of them must piece together information about the thing they used to be, understanding their own natures, and finding a new path.
